Описание к видео TONY ENOS - "Two Spirit" (Official Music Video)

“NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY”

Synopsis: This music video is dedicated to all the Two Spirit ancestors of the past who have brought us here today, the present Two Spirit leaders across turtle island, and the future Two Spirit leaders of tomorrow our youth.

“Two Spirit” is a song for the movement, welcoming Two Spirits from all Nations back into the sacred hoop.

We give thanks to the East Coast Two Spirit Society for creating a safe space for this music video to be filmed - The East Coast Two Spirit Society (EC2SS) is devoted to Two Spirit Native American and First Nations communities and the reduction of bias and discrimination due to lack of information. The EC2SS provides information to the general public and support and services to Two Spirit Natives, formerly known as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or gender non-conforming. EC2SS works to increase the positive visibility of Two Spirit communities and to provide safe, supportive opportunities for social, traditional and recreational interactions that are culturally appropriate to them. EC2SS also strives to reach Two Spirit youth and their families, to provide emotional support, care and a community of people who have experienced the challenges of being Native and Two Spirit, often while living and working in Native and other communities where they may not be fully welcomed or supported themselves. For more information visit their website www.ec2ss.net

This music video was made with a $0.00 budget, has 72 hours worth of filming time, editing work, and an over all investment of those who believed in this project and purpose.
Many thanks to all the two spirit artists who donated their time to this video and who helped bring this celebration of our people to fruition.
