This is a great prosumer camcorder. Great full HD performance.

Based on the current panasonic model terminology:
HC v700K - has no internal memory (you will need an SD card which is inexpensive)
HC v700MK- has 16GB of internal memory
HC v700M - has 16GB of internal memory

Panasonic HCV700, Panasonic HCV700k and Panasonic HCV700mk are all part of the same camera line.
