I hate myself for forgetting to set the amazing NC Alola battle theme as the BGM, apologies for that!

I wasn’t expecting that not having a variety pair (I’ve never scouted one!) was going to make such a huge difference here (variety Cynthia, for those who don’t know, can spam Will-O-Wisp after para and set SEUN via TM, has enough speed to spam with Chase gauge accel, and can hit a near triple cap at the end to get score to over 11M with Selene on this run). I don’t have Chase either though, but this is still my best DC score ever since I tend to do rank higher in 1v3s.

This run might be the most Selene scored herself on this DC considering most of the runs ahead of me had 2.5-3M w Cynthia and this run is 2.2M off lead…doesn’t matter of course lol!

Efficiency-wise I think running my extra SEUN on the third to last sync instead of at the very end would have been better, however this run actually needs a para and I didn’t even know I would have time for a 3rd SEUN anyway, so I didn’t try that, might try later off video.

Edit from future me: yes that is better, also there is more total sync damage so it is actually better to run Selene event special cookie for 40% sync boost than it is to run SP3. I got 9,623,298 on a run doing those things, and if I had one more SEUN MP refresh it would've been darn close to 10M bc there was time to get it off.

You do have to drop the reset of ghost zone (Selene’s 5/5 free grid item) in order to not waste time, which is a bummer because the first Selene sync usually comes at 1:43, which means you run out of ghost zone at 3 seconds left. Still I’m very happy with 5/5 Selene, super fun to use, great outfit, and crazy damage!

Gears 80 SPA 31% sync, no boost on regular moves.

For those curious I hit 7.2M with Selene, Fall Iono, and BP Barry. That is an ungodly slow run, but made up for some by the ghost rebuff, Selene’s B move hits triple cap if used at same point in run.
