Electricity sparked when Diana Ross took her European Summer Tour to the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, UK on June 20, 2022.

Audience members got an unexpected surprise after Diana Ross took a request from a fan to sing "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" - the song had reached the #2 spot on the UK chart, not once, but twice - first as a soloist and again when she re-recorded it as a duet with Westlife. After a run thru of her hits and endless memories, she returned for her usual encore of I Will Survive/All We Do Is Win. Unlike her show in Liverpool where she suddenly ended the show, she had a stagehand bring a chair so she could sit with the audience and do a little Q&A. But instead a fan requested she sing WYTMTYLM - a song she and her band hadn't rehearsed for this tour. When her band assured her that they can play the song, she relented and the result was one of her best performances of the evening, maybe for the entire tour. Not bad for singing "off the cuff." It brought tears to many fans who thought they wouldn't hear this song live again. I hope she keeps it in her show. It's a definite crowd pleasure and one of her most beautiful ballads. Now this is how you end a show on a high note.
