It may seem to be an oxymoron but, in his talk, Mike explores what communities of centenarians can teach us about the keys to finding ways to connect, and reconnect, with young people and build hopeful and hope-filled communities. He is acutely aware of the challenges young people face today and also the barriers that youth work struggles with. His talk will share how the learning from blue zones can be applied to make youth work and young people thrive.
