Conversation with Nanni Moretti | Locarno Film Festival

In 2008, the Festival devoted its retrospective to Nanni Moretti’s ironic, personal and incredibly original work. During this encounter with the public, the director discussed his career, from his early Super 8 efforts, to founding the production company Sacher Film, to the international successes, sharing behind-the-scenes anecdotes about his most emblematic films along the way. And, last but not least, he talked about his civic engagement in a country dominated by Berlusconi’s television networks.
