Facial Rejuvenation: Neck lift + CO2 Laser | Before and After | Dr. David Stoker

We have a beautiful result on a 56-year-old woman seeking pan facial rejuvenation where I performed my signature traceless neck lift operation, as well as fractional carbon dioxide laser. You might question the obvious or frequently asked question. What's the difference between a facelift and a neck lift? The answer is that they overlap in some ways. Very frequently, we call it a face and neck lift, but in some cases, when the patient is really confined to just one or the other, it can be just a pure facelift or a pure neck lift, which is what we did in this case. She really wasn't concerned about her face, and frankly, she didn't need a facelift, but she did have a significant amount of laxity in her neck, where she wanted the full attention to the procedure.

We also performed a fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing of her entire central face and a little bit on her neck to further enhance the goal of enhancing the results. The combination made a really big difference for her. On the frontal view, you can see great improvement and her skin, has an overall finer texture, the pores are smaller, the sunspots are gone, and there's been a general tightening of the facial skin. All of it is performed in a traceless fashion where there is no indication even to the close inspection of a surgeon or a hairstylist.

When she lifts up her neck in this view where we're looking underneath, it's very difficult and it'll get improvement in their wrinkles underneath the chin here, but she got a breathtakingly spectacular improvement in these results. I know she's really happy with the overall improvement. She feels much younger than she actually is, and it makes me happy to be able to use my traceless neck lift signature procedure, to get this kind of gorgeous result to take it to the next level with fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing.
