This is a video demonstrating an Input Mod to the LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI, a mod allowing the guitar to bypass the Para DI's first gain-stage, providing higher headroom and a more open sound for acoustic electric guitars with a built-in preamp (such as my Taylor 615 with an LR Baggs iMix system in the video).

The mic in my camera certainly isn't the best, and the difference is more clear in person than on this recording - but the video hopefully still allows a clear understanding of how the mod works and how it might be useful.
