BMW E30 Project ep5 - E46 Steering Rack Swap!

It's upgrade time! In this episode, the leaky old E30 steering rack gets the boot! In it's place will be an E46 rack (purple tag), E36 outer tie rods, and a modified steering linkage.

This is my 1991 BMW E30, 318i, with M40 engine. Right hand drive, made in Malaysia. I am restoring it on my own, right here at home, in my porch, with some hand tools. The plan is to get the car to a "good working condition" so that I can use it as my main / only car.
