"We Can't Keep Australia Under the Doona" is a short pisstake for a mixed chamber ensemble. It is a vaudeville-like satirical piece taking the piss out of the Australian Government, led by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, and their treatment towards the arts sector in Australia.

The entire piece is based on a melody and rhythm matching Morrison's quote "we can't keep Australia under the doona" regarding the need to kickstart the economy and society post-lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
