Описание к видео Difference between One way Slab & Two way Slab

This video shows the difference between one way slab and two way slab in detail. One way slab design is different from that of two way slab. One way slab can be defined as the ratio of longer span to shorter span greater than 2. While two way slab can be defined as the ratio of longer span to shorter span less than 2. In case of one way slab, only one side of slab should be designed and placing main bars along shorter direction to resist moment demand while termperature reinforcement are placed along long direction to avoid shrinkage cracks. In case of two way slab both sides of slab will be designed because both sides of slab will take moment demand. For more details please watch full video.
