this is the title track off my new album "all the things that skare me",, it is abowt, well, things that skare me, but thare are layers. i think we are all afraid of all the dark skary things that exist but i think we are also afraid that maybe most of life is our perspectives or the habits we practice each dae. maybe we are afraid of the truth that love starts within ourselves or that being optimistic is a choice? or maybe we're juzt afraid that if we actually enjoy our lives or receive the things we long for, they will then be taken awae, or we will have imposter syndrome?
self responsibility is something else thats skary, how much of this can i control and how much is out of my control? so of course bugs, heights, polyester, disani water, and car accidents are skary but sometimes the beautiful things in life evoke fear as well. this song is a conversation with self trying to wrap my head around life's complexities.
