Aether Strikers are pretty good in escalation (not my particular favorite though). They work pretty well with crit if you can get lucky with the amp choices, so if the RNG gods are on your side you'll consistently pop off with the strikers. P.S. they are my least favorite weapon when fighting Malkarion and I don't think they make it very easy to farm Malkarion's parts.
