#Exploring Uley Long Barrow a #Neolithic #burial mound. Its at least 5,000 yrs old overlooking the severn valley.

Between 15-20 skeletons have been recovered from the burial mound over the years. but little is known about the history of theses finds.

Despite its apparently good condition the burial mound has suffered from vandalism and casual excavation. Coins and pieces of pottery have been found inside the barrow which indicated that it was used during the Roman times.
