To cut through the hype, I put the powder to the test. Since its debut in 2018, Easy Bake Loose Powder has gained a loyal following, but Ube Birthday Cake stands out as the most striking shade yet. The inspiration comes from Kattan’s personal tradition of celebrating her birthday with her favorite ube cake. (For those unfamiliar, ube is a purple sweet potato native to the Philippines.)
