Pascal's law, also known as Pascal's principle, is a fundamental principle in fluid mechanics, named after the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal. The law states that in a confined fluid at rest, any change in pressure applied at any point in the fluid is transmitted undiminished throughout the fluid in all directions.
