Our school days are sometimes remembered as the best days of our lives. They must be as Hollywood has portrayed them in a string of films such as St. Trinian’s, Dead Poets Society, Tom Brown’s Schooldays, To Sir with Love, Rebel Without a Cause, American Graffiti, Ferris Beuller’s Day Off, Fame, Grease, Matilda and of course Harry Potter!

We are not promising gargoyles, wizards, spells, magic or a game of quidditch but we hope to take you back to special times, inspiring teachers, mischievous moments, sporting highlights, Chapel serenity, special friends and all that was and is Guildford Grammar School.

Karl Langdon (Sc 81-85)
Karl talks about his boarding days at Guildford Grammar School and how it was fun to have lots of brothers - after having none on his family’s farm. Sport was and still is his passion and he excelled in the supportive environment of the School’s sports program and PSA competitions. He wasn’t averse to the odd prank – anyone remember the mullet in the ‘swamp?’
