On July 6, 2025, Rio Rancho Police Officers responded to O'Hare's Grille and Pub in reference to a disturbance call. The restaurant manager met with Sgt. Whitten and he explained that an intoxicated woman was inside with an elderly gentleman and she was refusing to leave. The manager wanted both individuals trespassed from the establishment. Officers met with the 36-year-old woman who initially claimed she owned the business. She was escorted out of the building, where she continued to raise her voice and make crazy statements. She was eventually placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. She ended up kicking Sgt. Whitten as the Sergeant was trying to get the woman into the back of the one of the police vehicles. It was then revealed that the woman had just been released from jail a few hours earlier. The elderly gentleman that she was with was apparently not related to her, even though she repeatedly referred to him as "grandpa".
