Some very strange and creepy things take place in the great outdoors. The following stories come from Reddit users who encountered some seriously disturbing people out in the woods. Warning: some of these are truly scary!

Everybody loves to listen to a good creepypasta before bedtime, safe in the knowledge that the tales aren’t real. But what about the ones that are?

This list is compiled of stories found on Reddit forums, where people leave posts about horrifying true experiences that happened to them. Some are also from user submitted stories from fans of the Lazy Masquerade channel. I thought up this idea after watching the Corpse Husband video about Search and Rescue stories.
