In Ako: A Yandere Love Story, you step into the shoes of a high school junior, caught between friendship, love, and a dangerous obsession. Your childhood friend, Ako, has always been a constant presence in your life. She's your best friend, the one you’ve shared countless memories with, the one who knows you better than anyone. Over the years, your feelings for her have slowly transformed into something deeper, but you’ve kept them locked inside, unsure if she feels the same.

But just as you gain the courage to finally confess your love, something happens. You start receiving mysterious love letters in your locker from an anonymous girl. "Why now!" you think to yourself. You need your confession to be perfect! The last thing you want to deal with is a complicated love triangle, and besides, you only have eyes for Ako. As you try to figure out the identity of your mysterious admirer, you start to experience strange noises in the middle of the night. You begin to lose sleep. Are these just manifestations of your anxiety about confessing to the girl of your dreams? Are you simply hallucinating due to sleep deprivation? Or is it something darker...
