The Ryder Cup note was issued by the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in August 2014 to mark the occasion of the Ryder Cup, as part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to Scottish golf. It was designed and developed by the RBS, in conjunction with G&D and Louisenthal. The note was awarded with a IACA Award for "Best New Commemorative or Limited Circulation Banknote 2015".
