Streets of Fire is considered a cult film. Released in 1984, the story is about a past romance in a city where anarchy, hatred, violence and danger reigns, mixing noir and western with explosive set pieces. One of the songs featured in the film, 'I can dream about you', composed by Dan Hartman, became a successful hit worldwide during the 80's.

The film was written and directed by Walter Hill, also known for making films as 'The Warriors', '48hrs' and 'The Driver', among others. Also, he is the creator of screenplays such as 'The Getaway' starred by Steve McQueen and directed by Sam Peckinpah, the box office hit 'Aliens' directed by James Cameron and 'The Fugitive' starred by Harrison Ford. Their movies, full of violence and antiheroes, became very popular after their release and their remain as cult films. Streets of Fire is no exception.

This video is a tribute to this movie and to the stunning Diane Lane, who performs the main theme of the film: Nowhere Fast.
