Today on 26/01/2024, we performed at the High Commission of India London for the Flag Unfurling Ceremony on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day of India. As fellow Indians we represented our lovely state of Goa and our Konkans at large by singing in Konkani to Legend of Konkani Stage, Late Alfred Rose’s ‘Ami Soglim Ek’. It was a great opportunity and honour for us and we thank Clayton António Barreto for his relentless efforts to make this possible. We thank Shahu Almeida for the music track. Through our singing we reached out to our audience without their need of understanding Konkani. At the end, we were unexpectedly acknowledged by the guest of honour, a versatile Bollywood Actor, Boman Irani, along with the High Commissioner and audience. We were over the moon after receiving such appreciation and support. We hope to keep singing in our Mai bhas Konkani and making you proud of us. Praising God goes without saying but we are truly grateful to be blessed with such wonderful support, talent and blessings. Here is the highlight of today 26.01.2024.
