Getaway House -- New Orleans // Homochitto Outpost // Tiny Cabin Camping experience

In today's vlog I share our weekend getaway at Getaway House -- New Orleans outpost located in the Homochitto Forest. The name changed to Postcard cabins recently but it's the same company. This outpost is actually in Meadville, Mississippi, as all of their outpost across the country are located within 1-2 hours of a major city. In this video, we relax, cook good food over the open fire, take walks, escape to nature, and visit the city of Meadville. Use the time stamps below or chapters in the video to follow along.

We had been here once in 2022, and I have wanted to visit again for a long time. My son and myself are currently obsessed with watching Luke and the Outdoor boys, car camping videos and just camping vlogs in general. I enjoy outdoor cooking and being in nature. I just don't see myself being able to comfortably sleep in a tent at my current age. So glamping it is, and that way I get my son camping experiences and I get to disconnect and just relax!! This mini escape was so amazing to unplug and be surrounded by nature, I hope you guys enjoy the Vlog! We will visit again, hopefully sooner than later!!
