What is the difference between CELTA and TESOL?

"So, in terms of the nature of the content that is covered, the length of the course and the intensity, they are very similar courses.
The ways that you are assessed in terms of teaching and projects are also very similar

One key difference is that there's an unknown language lesson on the CELTA which is optional, so in some centres, you may not do it. But there's an unknown language journal project on the Cert TESOL, which is a required element of the course in which you experience learning a second language of which you know nothing to begin with.
So, you can really reflect on the experience of the teacher and the student in that situation.

And that is always a part of the Trinity TESOL Certificate and one of the parts that our trainees say they find the most enjoyable."
