Al is a genius behind the camera, and I am forever grateful to have my 2022 summer season in the UK captured so beautifully. This is when my professional climbing career really started taking off, and I look back at these moments with love and tears in my eyes 🥹 Since then, not only has my skin gotten better (lol, goodbye eczema), I've become more confident in myself, in trusting my journey, and in pushing myself to be a better person on and off the wall. It motivated me to learn from and value this wild life I get to lead. This filming process also helped me more than I can explain on my own personal filmmaking journey.

Thank you again to Alastair for agreeing to let me post half of the film on my YT... I've wanted to share this with everyone for YEARS, it's just such a special moment. Thank you to Merlyn who let me stay at her house for the week I projected WoL and ended up making an art exhibit inspired by my ascent (find it here on her IG:   / merlynchestermanwoodcuts  ) And to Tom for believing in me before I did-- miss you a million! I wouldn't be here without your faith in me as a person and a climber.

Fun fact: my mom went to the US premier of the film and cried her eyes out, and being the empathic sponge I am, I started crying, and I was just a bumbling mess on stage for the Q&A. It was truly the "look ma, I made it!" moment.
