The Godmachine - movie

Episodical documentary on the global bicycle messenger community and their dream for a future city without cars. A celebration of the finest and most energy efficient vehicle possible: the bicycle.
All protagonists are in the job for ten years or more and Mike, the godfather of messengers connects two worlds: The island and the city.
The film journeys with the bicycle to different messenger playgrounds in Hamburg (Germany), New York City and Kyoto (Japan). Waiheke Island (New Zealand) resident Mike provides a good distance to reflect on human behaviour in the cities.
