This workshop, presented by Neville Grech (Co-founder, Dedaub), is a hands-on walkthrough of Transaction Monitoring in the Dedaub Security Suite. Neville shows how to write customizable monitoring agents in a few lines of SQL, running on a modified PostgreSQL database with incremental computation. He explains the execution model as a monotonic query over new blockchain data and demonstrates how agents use time-series tables (including outer_transaction, transaction_detail, logs, and token_ledger) through Table Gadgets and just-in-time blockchain data decoding.

Across practical examples, he builds agents that detect large transfers with token_ledger, configures alerting with frequency and a unique key, uses logs and transaction_detail gadgets for decoded on-chain activity, applies historical materialization so agents only alert on new results, and composes richer agents via ref dependencies. He closes by showing how monitoring agents can join with Security Suite tables such as contracts and vulnerability to surface alerts tied to known vulnerabilities.
