Ribbon trail is an every changing terrain. Similar to a mini "whole enchilada." this ride contains slick rock, large rock slabs, soft sandy dirt (red and otherwise) small drops and cliff edge riding. This is a keep you on your toes kind of ride. The end has a very long climb which we were happy to have cleaned without stopping (except when we went the wrong way). Really a great ride, if you find yourself in the Grand Junction area, this is a must ride. I recommend connecting to Gunny Loop after the long climb out. take Gunny look counter clockwise and be ready for a run descend.
