We had greater expectations from the Invicto. Here are three key misses:
First, the calmness quotient in the cabin. At city speeds, when you are going slower and when the engine isn’t stressed, the Invicto feels calm and relaxed. As you start travelling faster on the highway, you realise it’s missing sound insulation. You can hear passing traffic and the strain from the engine every time you accelerate.
Second, the cabin doesn’t feel rich. On the inside, the plastics are hard, don’t feel good, and are also dull to look at. Although some might prefer the black colour over the brown theme in the Hycross, features like the touchscreen infotainment system and the 360o camera don’t feel sharp, rich, and modern.
Third, it misses out on the wow features that the Hycross gets. Like the ottoman seats which would make it feel lounge like and the ADAS tech which would make it better suited for highways. But the JBL sound system, which is missing, is not a big deal for us.
