Well what can i say about this compilation, apart from i think it finishes with one of my favourite races i have filmed in the 34 years of filming, but we'll start with Race 1 and it's back to the mid 1990's at the boarded circuit of High Halden in Kent. The very quick Dave Steer/Andy Orchard have a tremendous battle with Gary Jackson/Kevin Williams. Jackson riding the wide line, and Steer holding it tight on the markers. In a very tight finish, one of these crews wins by the width of a tyre, but which one? Another cracking race from the mid 90's, and it's from the Salisbury Sizzler, with the race of the day. The crews doing battle were Roger Measor/Shane Lapham, Rob & Geoff Bradley, Gary Jackson/Mick Stace. A super race, and with Jackson sidecar wheel looking like it could go under the sidecar at any turn, there was a lot of suspense as well. Race 3, and some real drama as Andrew Cleave/Dave Power look to get into the A Final of the Super Cup at Collier Street, but Ivor Matthews/Tony Miles have other ideas. If you were there, you will remember only to well what drama took place. Race 5 is from Stelling Minnis in Kent, and what a great track this was. Rob Wilson/Tony Miles make a great start, but are soon hard pressed by Ivor Matthews/Peter Jones for the lead, but Wilson/Miles were not going to give it up without a fight. Basingstoke is where we go for another brilliant race in the Team Championships. Duncan Tolhurst/Paul Baseby, Richard Thomas/Kevin Woodley, and Mark Edwards/Nick Walters have a super battle. Last of all is my all time favourite, and it's the re-run of the 2003 Bonfire Burn-up from Collier Street, and it's the 6 lap B Final, and the winner goes to the big A Final. 6 laps of absolute brilliance, with Steve Smith/Carl Squirrell, Symon Wall/Kev Jones, and John Hiscock/Carl Bell. One of the best 3 wheeled races you'll ever see.
