The FMS FCX18 Hummer EV is one of the newest cuties in my collection of small RC vehicles.

The little crawler is currently available for €189 and looks very stylish, which is of course a matter of taste.

What I wasn't used to from FMS are weaknesses that this model has had right from the start.

While the car drives smoothly in fast gear, it always stutters slightly in slow gear. This of course affects the driving experience. There are also problems now and then when you switch from fast to slow gear when stationary and the pinion in the gearbox does not stay in neutral. So you can hear the engine turning, but the car stays stationary.
