Into the Deep EP unfolds as a three-part meditation on heritage, love, and rhythm, an intermezzo chapter within The Book of Wav, his evolving musical universe. Following the story introduced through his debut album “Book Of Wav” in 2024, and leading into the next chapter “The Wav” arriving in 2026, this project holds space for emotional exposure and introspection, placing feeling at the forefront of sound.
Opening with “Bab’omdala,” the EP grounds itself in ancestral symbolism, using the language of dowry and abundance as a call to release fear and trust the unfolding of life. “Thathi Inhliziyo” follows as a tender declaration of devotion, capturing the beauty of giving one’s heart fully despite resistance, jealousy, and societal expectation. Tracks such as “Thathi ’Nhliziyo (Take My Heart)” featuring Mthunzi stand as intimate expressions of love, sincerity, and emotional truth, affirming vulnerability as a source of power rather than weakness. The EP closes with “Tonight,” where emotion gives way to movement, and melody and rhythm become a shared language on the dance-floor.

Rooted in soulful deep house, the EP balances introspection and groove, offering music that is both deeply felt and lived in. Into the Deep serves as an intermezzo leading into his forthcoming album, due for release at the end of September.
