Most people are scared of sharks. Which is understandable considering how our media and entertainment seem to constantly falsely portray these animals as vicious, mindless, blood-thirsty man-hunters. However, this is NOT a factual caricature. In reality, sharks are wild animals and capable predators, yes, although they are also incredibly intelligent, beautiful, and important for our planet...and therefore important for our own survival :) However, they're being killed at an alarming rate by humans, and so please join us in the fight of protecting the remaining shark populations.
