Two Scaly-breasted Lorikeets clean house in a tree hollow out the back of my house. These vocal little birds visit the gum trees at the back of my house every morning in small flocks that make a lot of noise.

Scaly-breasted Lorikeets are part of the Psittaculidae (Old World Parrots) family. There are 190 species in that family, including the Australian King Parrot, the Australian Ringneck Parrot, and the Crimson and Eastern Rosellas.
