The Capri! It's Back! But it's not right yet............ The ignition timing is all over the place so I've decided to go all modern and fit electronic ignition. Much as it pains me to ditch points and condenser, the modern equivalent parts are just not as reliable, even the top brands suffer with poor quality now, much like most things now I suppose!

I'm using Powerspark equipment; a low cost option that eliminates all the old gear from the ignition system to hopefully give a more consistent and reliable spark at the the right time. If it proves to be good then I'll consider it for both my Series Land Rover and the Mini when the time comes.
