Recipe:
3 tbsp butter
4 tbsp flour
2 cups chicken stock
½ cup drippings from roasted meat (optional)
½ tsp ground pepper
1-2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions:
1. Melt butter over medium or medium low heat, add flour and mix very well
2. Cook roux (flour and butter mixture) for 4-5 minutes, stirring regularly
3. Add chicken broth to roux and mix completely
4. Add meat drippings and Worcestershire sauce (both optional)
5. Allow mixture to come to a simmer to thicken
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste
