Listen to the clicking sounds of the Uruguay harlequin frog - Lysapsus limellum.

These frogs live in flooded areas of the Central South American savannah. Not much is known about them and there isn't a lot of literature about them. I recorded them in the Pantanal in a little puddle where they seemed to call from at night. (FYI the photo is of a different species because I couldn't find one of the Lysapsus limellum).
