Minecraft Note Blocks - Queen Bohemian Rhapsody (Full Version)

Описание к видео Minecraft Note Blocks - Queen Bohemian Rhapsody (Full Version)

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody created in Minecraft.

It is done.
i have to say.... I HATE TRIPLETS!!!!!!!!!
i managed to mask the quarter note triplets pretty well.
but the 8th/16th note triplets sound a very choppy, since i used a mixture of 8th notes and 16th notes.
these triplets are in several parts of the song and you'll easily notice it when they come up.

also, once i get into the later part of the song, i hit the 2 octave limit, so i had to drop an octave.
another thing that i could done been better is the ending part... which has a couple bars that just don't sound right. this is mostly because i did tune some notes well, and partly because the piano, vocal, and guitar parts all come from the same note block sound, so they sound jumbled.

anyways, here it is... finally. so enjoy!!!!!

P.S. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT UPDATE WITH REPEATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's gonna make my life so much easier if i can actually make a reliable 1 tick delay circuit instead of the glitchy north/south quirks.

2019 Edit:
Hi everyone!
This was quite a surprise seeing this sudden increase in activity on my YouTube channel.
I guess I have YouTube’s bizarre algorithm to thank for that.
First of all, i’d like to thank all of you for the overwhelmingly positive comments.
Second, i just wanted to comment on some of the more discussed topics in the comments section.

1.
It was really fun making these noteblock songs way back when, and it’s something I’ve thought about getting back into, but due to time constraints, I’m not sure if i’d be able to create new songs and edit/upload videos of them with my current schedule. There’s still a possibility I might give it another shot, but definitely no promises. Maybe in 8 years when this video gets recommended again... Who knows.

(Also, i have little to no video editing skills. I’m not sure I can provide the quality i see in so many other videos uploaded these days. Also, sorry about the super awkward/boring/long intros. They were added because people kept trying to steal my videos and I honestly didn’t really know any other way to counter that at the time)

Yes, this was all done before creative mode was released. This noteblock world was created in survival. One of the earlier videos has that creepy high pitched noise you hear on survival (can’t quite remember what triggers it, but it had to do with enemy mobs). Also, it’s the reason i have torches everywhere (to keep the entire place lit so that mobs wouldn’t spawn).

However, as some of you have mentioned, mods did exist back in beta. I forget what the mod was called, but I did use an inventory editor (hence the inventory bar that looks a lot like Creative mode). I don’t think there would’ve been any way for me to stay sane while mining all of those redstone. I did, however, place and test all the noteblocks and redstone by hand.

(This part may be a bit technical) The ‘Old School’ repeaters i used in these songs are a really common redstone circuit that is limited to a 2 tick signal. In order to get the 1 tick signal that you see in a lot of the later videos, I used a glitch that I believe was called ‘North/South Quirk’. It allowed me to make way more complicated songs, but the glitch was very finicky and only worked in certain spots. So I had to do a lot of re-placements of redstone. The last song I made was right when repeaters were released. Unfortunately, that was when I got really busy and didn’t have enough time to make more videos.

Anyways, I guess i’m glad YouTube gave me a reason to go back and watch all the videos and reminisce.
I hope you all had fun watching my old videos…… and maybe... possibly do so with future videos.

** also wanted to add how disappointed I am with bedrock version for not adding any of the new noteblocks since the initial 5 instruments!!
