MOVING OUT AT 18 (TO AMSTERDAM) | Everything Amsterdam has taught me!

Hey friends! Back from my little break, and I've got a story to share that's been a long time coming. Picture this: 18-year-old me, wide-eyed and eager, taking a chance on moving countries for university, specifically to the place I now call home: Amsterdam. I know you are used to more vlog-like content from me, but I receive a lot of messages about what it was like for me to move to Amsterdam for university (I studied at the University of Amsterdam) and so I thought I would make a video for everybody interested in joining me here!

So today, I'm spilling all the tea on what it was really like – the good, the not-so-glamorous, and everything in between. Learning responsibility? Oh yeah, I've got some stories for you. Navigating the "big city" as a young girl? Buckle up for the real talk (but don't worry, Amsterdam will seem tiny to you after only a few weeks of living here. Now we all wish it was a big city haha). And let's not forget about making Amsterdam my own – dreams, friendships, love, and all the messy bits that come with it. I've learned all my lessons and while I'm all for self-exploration, maybe the experiences I have made will help you out a bit.

Moving away from home to live alone in a new city and/or country is a big step. It's a journey filled with highs, lows, and lots of life lessons. I've felt lost, I've gotten hundreds or reality checks, and I've had some of the best times of my life in Amsterdam. But you know what? It's all part of the adventure.
