So now I’m going to show you how to use your fists during a deep tissue massage and what to expect from that. So we’re going to go ahead and start up here at the top of the back. My hands are together and it sort of creates a barrier where I won’t go over the spine. But you’re right up against the spine in that area that really needs it, the erector spinae. We’re going to go nice and slow all the way down, allowing your hands, your knuckles to just sink into that tissue. When you get down here at the base, this is where you can actually do a little bit more. You can kind of go in circles around that sacrum area. Again that’s the area where there’s, where you would imagine there’s dimples. We’re going to go back up, and then you can even do a little bit of knuckle work right here along the shoulders just to connect it. And that feels really great. And so that is just a quick briefing on how you can use your fists during a deep tissue massage.
