🌟 Exploring Tanjay City: A Walk Along Legaspi Street 🌆

Join me on a delightful stroll through Tanjay City as I take advantage of the time while our daughter renews her business permit for MIRACLE WASH LAUNDROMAT on Legaspi Street, right next to the City Hall.

🚶‍♂️ Walking from the National Highway to the Tanjay River, my journey starts with a glimpse of Rizal Street adorned with lingering Christmas decorations in early January. Osmena Park on the right reveals city employees searching for their names on lists, while a lone basketball player practices his skills.

🏫 On the opposite side, a bustling school comes to life with students and teachers arriving. Continuing along Legaspi Street, I reach the pedestrian bridge over the Tanjay River, witnessing pedicab drivers waiting to transport pupils to school and later ferrying people to the market or city council during the day.

🌉 The old steel bridge, closed to vehicles, leads to encounters with a saint figurine seller preparing his wares for a day of parading through the streets. Returning, I traverse the Christmas tree-lined Rizal Street to City Hall, where diligent city employees and private house owners collaborate to keep the streets and squares pristine.

🛣️ Back on Legaspi Street, crossing the National Highway, I venture towards the back of the big market. Along the way, I meet a charismatic woman selling charcoal in her little shop, engaging in a lively exchange with a security guard with sooty hands purchasing cigarettes.
