A common feature in songs is the eighth note "push" - where the last 8th note of a bar is pushed or accented.
This video explains & demonstrates this concept for beginners.
Practice along with the exercises and change the playback speed if you need to.
All exercises are at a speed of 80 BPM but you'll want to make sure you can do this at a variety of tempos.
