DELICIOUS Soto Betawi Haji Mamat - Indonesian Street Food Tour

Soto Betawi Haji Mamat is one of the famous traditional Soto Betawi in Jakarta a streetfood you have to try when you get to Jakarta.

In Indonesia we can find many versions of Soto and one of the well known is Soto Betawi, its different because of the use of Coconut Milk and Milk which gives it combined with all the spices a red colour.
In the Soto we have Tomat, Emping, Spring onions and Beef which is very tender. Mix all of this together and you get a delicious Indonesian street food.
As dessert I found an Es dawet from Banjarnegara. I thought its a food but instead its a drink containing sugar, coconut milk and cendol (made from flour), if you stir it well the taste is sweet and refreshing.
