Bicolline 2023 Tuesday Fort Battle: Part 3 Defending

This is part 3 of the Tuesday Fort Battle. While i was talking to my Mother who loves watching my videos but has never been to something like this she gave me the idea to show the fort before hand and describe the objectives and rules of this type of Fort battle.

So as you might guess the Fort battles have a defending and an attacking side. There are about 6 bouts so each side has a chance to attack and defend 3 times each. Unfortunately I only have footage of the first 5!

The defending side has multiple Blue Full Size flags placed around the inside of the fort. each one of these flags has a Game Warden that is watching and timing how long the Flags are defended. The attacking side MUST remove the flags from the posts in order to stop the timers. Yes the flag can be surrounded by the enemy but if it is still up it is still giving us time points. Once all the flags are removed then the Game Wardens blow the horns and the bout is over. Then attackers and defenders switch sides and go at it again after a small break!!

Keep an eye out in the video where i point out a couple of these flags and you can see the attacking side take one and throw it on the ground at one point.
