In this interview at ESCRS 2018, Dr Harvey S Uy discusses the variety of options that can be provided with new intraocular lenses such as extended depth of field lenses. He tells us about his current work in multicomponent lenses and how these can be adapted to meet the needs of individual patients. Dr Uy also tells us about his experience with the BVI I-Ring and how it not only benefits patients in terms of decreased postoperative inflammation, but also increases efficiency in busy practices by shortening treatment time.
