The True Cost of Urban Sprawl Town Hall

Join us for an important community conversation on how our tax dollars are being used and the growing financial and environmental costs of unchecked development in Central Florida to together we can learn to stop it.
As development expands beyond the Econlockhatchee River and deeper into the Florida Wildlife Corridor, residents are facing rising taxpayer costs, worsening traffic congestion, and irreversible damage to protected and conservation lands. The proposed toll road through Split Oak Forest remains an active threat but one the community still has the power to stop.
This town hall will bring together residents, experts, and local leaders to discuss the true cost of urban sprawl and explore solutions that prioritize people, wildlife, and smart growth.
