So this week was a bit of a let down with having no compressor and the weather being awful but to keep the momentum up I decided to finally get around to sealing the cockpit sole.

The exterior machine screws are A4 316 Stainless Steel and the interior Tee Nuts are A2 304 Stainless Steel.

Sealant used to seal up the machine screws is Butyl tape. Try to buy a tape that has good reviews as some of the cheaper "Butyl tapes" are really quite awful.

Sanding tool used to remover the old sealant from the cockpit sole is a 3m Sandblaster tool.
