Desert Dew | Mountain Dew Spec Ad

Jordan originally wrote the idea for our next spec ad without any specific brand in mind. We were looking for a beverage that would fit best and contemplated some beer companies as an option. After seeing the goofy style to Mountain Dew's recent advertisements we thought they would make the perfect fit for our concept.⁠⁠

With only one day to shoot, using entirely new techniques, at a new location and in the Manitoba summer heat, this wasn’t a shoot we could go in winging. We prepared ourselves for Chroma Keying by testing our methods in multiple situations. A LOT of extra work went in ahead of time but it paid off when shoot day went off without a hitch. ⁠⁠
