Описание к видео SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket paints sky with 'jellyfish' effect during after-sunset Starlink mission

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, making a record-breaking 21st flight, lifted off from Cape Canaveral's Space Launch Complex 40 at 8:32 p.m. EDT on May 17, 2024. The after-sunset launch created the right lighting conditions for the so-called 'jellyfish' effect as the Falcon 9 climbed to orbit.

Watch our edited 4K video highlights of the launch and then see the raw video from each camera angle. Includes natural sound from the Kennedy Space Center press site and SpaceX launch control audio.

The Starlink 6-59 mission carried into orbit 23 satellites for SpaceX's high-speed internet service.

Videographers: Adam Bernstein, Chuck Briggs and Pete Carstens.
